Studienteilnahme Tübingen

We are currently conducting a study on decision-making and learning behavior and are looking for participants from diverse backgrounds. Through our behavioral and Eye-Tracking project, we aim to investigate the impact of fluctuations in brain activity on decision-making.

The current study involves playing a game (up to 1 hour), measuring your gaze and pupil activity while playing another game (up to 1 hour), behavioral tests and completing questionnaires (approximately 1 hour). The duration of the entire testing process can vary but is estimated to be around 3 hours and will take place at the University Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Tübingen (Calwerstraße 14).

As a token of appreciation for your participation, you will receive compensation of at least €8 per hour, with the opportunity to earn an additional bonus of €5 twice.

Requirements for participating in the study are as follows:

  • You are between 18 and 50 years old and legally authorized to consent to study participation.
  • No neurological or psychiatric conditions.
  • No cosmetic eyelid manipulation or permanent makeup.
  • No intake of medications affecting brain activity.
  • No impaired vision that cannot be corrected with contact lenses.

Participation in the study is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time without providing reasons and without incurring any disadvantages. Data will be collected in a pseudonymized manner and cannot be connected to you without the use of a separately stored matching list accessible only to the study supervisor. Personal data will only be used for research purposes and will not be shared with third parties.
